NSW: 74 year old charged with murder
SYDNEY, Aug 1 AAP - A 74-year-old man has been charged with murder after the body of a
75-year-old woman was found at a Tumbarumba address in southern New South Wales this morning.
Police have released few details but said they received a 000 call this morning and went to
the Adlong Street address where they found the woman.
The 74-year-old man was stopped in his car by police a short distance away from the house
and taken away for questioning before being charged.
A police spokesman said the pair "were known to each other".
The man is due to appear in Wagga Local Court tomorrow.
